HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Calgary, AB | $45–$55/hour + Benefits + Overtime

We're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join a growing team in Calgary, AB.

This isn't a job where you'll spend every day working on the same piece of equipment. You'll work on a mix of on-road trucks and transports and off-road heavy equipment, giving you the opportunity to put your skills to work across a wide range of equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and commercial vehicles
• Work on both on-road trucks/transports and off-road equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and related systems
• Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Identify potential equipment issues before they become major problems
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Follow all required safety procedures and best practices

WHAT YOU BRING

• Alberta Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification
• Interprovincial Red Seal is an asset
• Experience working on heavy equipment, trucks, transports, or a combination
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CVIP certification is an asset
