The Head of Finance.
Salary Range
55,000 to 65,000
A day in the life
Working at an agency means no two days are ever the same and you get to work with a great cast of characters. You'll be responsible for things like making sure the office runs smoothly, helping to onboard new employees, organizing client and employee events, bank deposits and general office errands, and assisting the finance team with a variety of time sensitive month-end tasks.
You'll work closely with company leadership and employees to champion and improve the employee experience (and ensure everyone stays caffeinated). You'll also maintain the office while engaging and interacting with our staff, clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a highly motivated individual that's used to a fast-paced environment. As Office Coordinator, the ideal candidate will have the following skills.
- You're an enthusiastic cheerleader. You're a high energy, personable and outgoing personality who enjoys engaging in meaningless conversation.
- You're detail oriented. Nothing slips past you. The office is your domain, and you take pride in making sure everything is in its place. You're always one step ahead of the task at hand and you love digging into the numbers. No one needs to tell you what to do next and you make sure to proof-read the emails you send out to the staff.
- You're comfortable with numbers. You enjoy keeping things accurate and organized, whether that's reviewing timesheets, reconciling vacation and sick time balances, verifying contractor invoices, reviewing employee expenses, creating an event budget or helping ensure project information is complete and ready for reporting. You're confident working with systems and spreadsheets, have a keen eye for detail, and understand that the little things make a big difference.
- You're eager to jump in where needed. This role has a broad range of tasks as well as ad hoc projects that aren't technically in the job description, we're a team and help each other out when needed, busy times, vacation coverage, it's all hands on deck. You could be pulled in to help with content entry for a client project or give up a few hours on a Saturday to run the kid's Christmas party.
