Dock Worker (overnight shift)

Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting Dock Workers / Forklift Operators for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity in Moncton, NB. The successful candidate will work in a busy freight terminal environment, operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift while assisting with loading, unloading, scanning, sorting, and moving freight safely and efficiently. Forklift training and certification will be provided for candidates with the right experience and aptitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift.
• Scan and organize incoming and outgoing freight.
• Load and factor outbound loads.
• Assist with cubing freight.
• Complete required forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Operate an electric pallet jack.
• Load and unload freight manually, including hand bombing.
• Sort and organize kegs.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform general warehouse and dock duties.
• Complete various manual labour tasks as required.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company expectations.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, freight terminal, or logistics environment is considered an asset.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred; forklift certification is not required, as training and certification will be provided by the client.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack is considered an asset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, dependable, and able to demonstrate a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada for a minimum of one year.
• CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots are required.
• Additional required PPE will be provided by the client.
• Ability and willingness to work the required overnight schedule.

What We Offer

• $20.00–$28.00/hr + 4% vacation pay, depending on experience
• Includes a $1.00/hr night shift premium
• Full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity
• Monday to Friday night shift
• Approximately 7:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m./5:00 a.m. (schedule to be confirmed)
• Schedule may vary based on operational demand and seasonal requirements
• Weekly payroll through direct deposit
• Opportunity for long-term employment and permanent placement
