Job description:

As an ICBC Nursing Services provider with ACG, you'll deliver skilled, in-home nursing care to clients recovering from motor vehicle accident injuries. When ICBC authorizes nursing services for a client near you, we'll submit you for that case; the client and their ICBC adjuster confirm the match before you start. You choose which cases fit your schedule — this is casual, on-call work, not a fixed shift schedule. We're hiring for both RN and LPN positions; scope of duties and pay differ by credential, as outlined below.

Registered Nurse (RN)

RNs on our ICBC roster take the more complex and unstable cases — clients whose condition or care plan requires ongoing clinical judgment.

  • Provide in-home skilled nursing care for complex or medically unstable MVA clients
  • Wound care, dressing changes, and catheter, ostomy, or G-tube care for complex presentations
  • Administer medications and injections; complete clinical assessments and monitor changing status
  • Manage post-surgical and complex care needs, including cases requiring clinical judgment beyond a standard care plan
  • Coordinate care with the client's physician, OT/PT, and ICBC case manager

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

LPNs on our ICBC roster take stable, predictable cases where the client's care needs and outcomes are well established.

  • Provide in-home skilled nursing care for stable MVA clients with a predictable care plan
  • Wound care, dressing changes, and catheter, ostomy, or G-tube care within LPN scope
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs and overall status
  • Support post-surgical recovery and assist with mobility and transfers
  • Coordinate care with the client's physician, OT/PT, and ICBC case manager

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Active registration in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), as an RN or LPN
  • Current professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain it)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between client homes in [City/Region]
  • Comfort working independently in a client's home setting
  • Clear criminal record check, including vulnerable sector search
  • Experience in home care, community nursing, or complex/palliative care
  • Wound care or post-surgical care experience

Preferred

  • Prior experience with ICBC, WorkSafeBC, or other third-party insurance-funded care
