Pay: $45-$55 per hour, based on experience

The Opportunity

MKEE Talent Inc. is currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join a team in Maple Ridge.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of fleet and off-road equipment and wants a consistent Monday to Friday day-shift schedule and available overtime.

You'll be responsible for keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready to work through preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet and off-road equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs
• Inspect equipment to identify safety and maintenance concerns
• Complete servicing, troubleshooting, and component replacement
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with safety and operational requirements
• Support the team in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently

What You Bring

Required:

• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
• Alberta Journeyperson, On-Road certification, or Interprovincial Red Seal
• CVIP certification for trucks
• Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, fleet equipment, and/or off-road equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
