Welder

Our Client is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that

use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. They use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.
They are seeking 3 welders to join their manufacturing team.

Salary: $27.00-$29.00 per hour (BOE)

Location: Speers and Bronte/ Oakville

Shift: 2 Morning (6:00am to 2:00pm 8hrs, 5-day week – Monday to Friday) and 2 afternoon shifts (2:00pm to 12:00am 10hrs, 4-day week – Monday to Thursday) – Training in morning

Responsibilities
• Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
• Perform welding duties in accordance with work instructions and inspection sheets, and technical
drawings.
• Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs
• Able to do GMAW welding

Education & Qualifications
• Welding Certificate or Diploma
• Valid CWB welding ticket is an asset
• 3-5 years of welding/fitting experience
• TIG welding experience as an asset
• Experience with forklift, jib/overhead cranes is an asset
• Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including
regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.
• Ability to work safe and independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Written and oral communication in English.
