Job Description:
We are looking for a part time Pharmacist to join our team! For 2 or 3 days in a raw. With the option of one week work, one week off if preferred. Accommodation can be provided
The Pharmacist directly supports the Designated Pharmacy Manager to ensure the ongoing success of store operations. Acting as a leader in driving superior customer experience, that translates into an environment that ensures people make the healthiest choices quickly, easily and confidently, helping them feel better every day.
Well staffed pharmacy with technician and assistants
Principal Responsibilities:
- Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions.
- Adhere to opioid policy
- Able to operate in a fast paced environment
- Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products to provide excellent customer service and maximize customer loyalty.
- Be comfortable in administering vaccines, assessing for minor ailments and practicing to full scope of practice as defined by OCP.
- Responsible for partaking in and supervising ordering medications and health aids from various vendors
- Maintaining the dispensary inventory levels within reasonable bounds based on medication use patterns.
- Being a team player who is able to lead and boost team productivity and morale.
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Valid Provincial Pharmacy license.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong customer/patient satisfaction orientation.
- Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to maintain the optimum balance between the profession of pharmacy and business of pharmacy.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work productively as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team.
