Our client in Ajax, Ontario, is seeking a Program Purchasing Analyst who will support Configuration Change Management and special assignments on new development Program, ensuring effective coordination, analysis, reporting, and documentation to drive successful project execution. In this role the candidate will be a key member of the Program Purchasing Team, working closely with Program Purchasing Leads, Industrialization, Production, Commodity Purchasing, and Program.
Pay rate: $$33-$36 per hour
Contract role – 12 month contract – with possibility of extension
Hours: Monday to Thursday between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support project schedule compliance and monitor pre-release activities.
- Represent Purchasing in Change Board meetings: record upcoming changes, highlight risks, and contribute to decision-making.
- Attend Change Board flow-down meetings to report on supplier communications and acknowledgments.
- Monitor supplier flow-downs: confirm updated export packages are shared and acknowledged after PDM revisions.
- Maintain the Program Change Purchasing Database, ensuring accurate tracking and communication to Buyers and Industrialization Project Leads.
- Serve as the Purchasing focal point for Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation.
- Coordinate the completion of Safran Landing Systems Change Management Process steps.
- Consolidate cost impacts of changes within the development program cost model
- Support tracking of Recurring (RC) and Non-Recurring Costs (NRC).
- Maintain a customer requirements database flow-down status and updates.
- Mitigate specific part or raw material shortages by guaranteeing supply coverage for Cient and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Analyze supplier delivery dates, identify delivery date discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Participate in calls with suppliers to monitor order progress and provide regular updates to internal teams.
- Support internal functions (Industrialization, Procurement, Production Program Management, Quality, Program Purchasing) by communicating critical information such as delivery dates, qualification, and required documentation.
- Lead various internal meetings as required and maintain associated action registers and issue related minutes.
- Support reporting and tracking activities for the Program Purchasing Team, including additional project-related tasks as needed.

• PLM (product lifecycle management) - Minimum 3 years' experience in Aerospace or a related industry, ideally in Supply Chain, Purchasing or Project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, College Diploma, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
