Autobody Specialist

• Execute Lean Workflows: Utilize 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to keep your bay and tools perfectly organized, eliminating downtime.
• Meticulous Blueprinting: Completely disassemble vehicles up front to identify all hidden damage, ensuring 100% accurate parts ordering and zero production stalls.
• High-Quality Repairs: Perform structural, sheet metal, and plastic repairs to OEM specifications using advanced frame-pulling and welding equipment.
• Standardized Production: Follow shop SOPs to ensure a predictable, continuous flow of vehicles to the paint department.
• In-Line Quality Control: Inspect your own work continuously to guarantee zero defects before passing the vehicle to the next stage.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Certification: Journeyman / Red Seal certification in Auto Body Repair (or equivalent provincial/state licensing).
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a collision repair environment; experience in a Lean or rapid-production shop is a strong asset.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in structural pulling, MIG/resistance welding, and plastic repair.
• Mindset: A strong desire to work in a process-driven team environment rather than a traditional "flat-rate, single-tech" setup.
• Tools: Must possess your own updated inventory of trade-related tools.
