Seasonal Sorter / Production Worker

Primary duties:

• Work alongside the roller and shaker tables on the production line.
• Visually inspect tomatoes as they move along the line.
• Identify and remove poor-quality tomatoes, including tomatoes with black spots, damage, or other visible defects.
• Identify and remove any foreign materials from the product.
• Follow all food-safety, GMP, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain attention and accuracy while performing repetitive sorting duties.
• Remain standing for the majority of the shift.

Requirements:

• Wear CSA-approved safety footwear to enter and work in the facility.
• No jewellery is permitted in the production area.
• Workers must be comfortable working beside continuously moving roller, shaker, and conveyor equipment.
• Because the continuous movement may cause dizziness or nausea for some individuals, candidates must be able to perform the work safely around this equipment without experiencing symptoms that could create a safety concern.
• Workers must follow instructions and consistently identify product defects and foreign materials.
