Meat Trader - Beef Lamb

Our client is seeking a commercially driven Meat Trader to grow profitable beef and lamb sales across foodservice distributors, wholesalers, and regional distribution partners. What's Offered: - Competitive base salary plus bonus opportunity ($95,000 - $129,000 + Bonus) - Company-paid health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits - Employer-sponsored pension plan - Employee purchase program and additional company perks - Collaborative and growth-oriented culture Responsibilities: - Develop new business and expand existing customer accounts - Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements - Monitor market trends, pricing, supply, and competitive activity - Identify profitable trading opportunities - Manage key customer relationships and forecasting activities - Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in meat trading, protein sales, or commodity trading - Proven success selling beef and/or lamb into distribution or wholesale channels - Strong knowledge of meat cuts, specifications, grading systems, and market pricing - Experience negotiating contracts and managing profitable customer relationships - Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills - Proficiency with Excel, CRM systems, and reporting tools - Experience with both domestic and imported beef and lamb - Established network within foodservice distribution and wholesale channels - Knowledge of international meat markets and import/export regulations After submitting your resume, you will receive a reach out from our virtual recruiter.
