The Spa Facility Supervisor will directly oversee the Fairmont Spa, Nordic Spa, fitness centre, and hotel pool facilities, while leading the Spa & Fitness Attendants, Nordic Attendants, and Pool Attendants. This position will also oversee the Spa Reception, Reservations, and Spa provider team where necessary. The Spa Facility Supervisor will operate an efficient and profitable business in these departments, acting as a Manager on Duty as assigned, and ensure uncompromising attention to quality of service based on the areas of focus outlined in the below job responsibilities.

What you will be doing:
- Uphold the highest standard of customer service by demonstrating and applying 5 Star service standards at all times.
- Consistently model professional, engaging, luxury 5-star service to the respective teams.
- Assist in the recruitment, development, and training of all Spa Attendants, Nordic Attendants, and Pool Attendants
- Ensure guest satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the spa's first priority
- Assist in the development and implementation of facility operations in line with luxury standards
- Ensure that all spa facilities, treatment rooms, pool area, and retail areas in the hotel are in peak condition at all times (maintenance and cleanliness).
- Ensure service excellence through facility audits/evaluations and follow-up.
- Ensure effective and timely communication among all spa departments and throughout the hotel through weekly/monthly department communication meetings.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques.
- Act as a Trainer where required and implement effective training plans for Spa Attendants, Nordic Attendants, and Pool Attendants.
- Review daily productivity and approve payroll.
- Ensure full understanding of spa operations and attend hotel operation meetings as required.
- Conduct development and performance management discussions as required in a timely manner.
- Offer support and supervision for all spa departments as required
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- Service focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in luxury spa or hospitality industry
- Minimum of 2 years experience in supervisory position in a spa or hospitality industry
- A passion for spa and wellness
- Diploma or Degree in hospitality or related field an asset
- Career-minded individual with strong personal initiative and a desire to achieve the department's vision and goals
- Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Energetic individual who is able to prioritize to complete many diverse tasks concurrently
- Computer literacy in Office, Word, Excel
- Previous experience in booking software an asset
