Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary

ABC Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Plumber to join our growing team in

Lethbridge, AB. In this role, you will focus on large-scale commercial projects, including the installation,

maintenance, and repair of high-capacity plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems. The ideal

candidate has strong diagnostic expertise, values high-quality craftsmanship, reads complex blueprints

effortlessly, and maintains a strict focus on workplace safety and plumbing codes.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Commercial Installation: Install, assemble, and fit large-scale pipe systems, valves, commercial

fixtures, water heaters, and industrial backflow preventers.

• System Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing infrastructure,

including high-pressure lines, grease traps, and multi-story drainage systems.

• Blueprint & Submittal Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret blueprints, architectural drawings,

and structural schematics to map out efficient commercial layouts.

• Testing & Inspections: Conduct rigorous pressure tests on water and gas lines to ensure system

integrity prior to structural close-ins.

• Code Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to local commercial building codes, occupational health

and safety regulations, and environmental standards.

• Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with general contractors, site supervisors, and other trades on

active commercial construction sites.
