Double pallet walkie/ reach truck/ forklift operator

The Double Pallet Walkie, Reach Truck, and Forklift Operator plays a vital role in managing palletized goods within a large warehouse environment exceeding 50,000 sq ft. This operator ensures efficient and safe movement of inventory by expertly handling machinery to support order fulfillment and material stacking. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is focused solely on equipment operation without maintenance responsibilities, prioritizing safety and communication within the team.

Responsibilities

• Operate double pallet walkie, reach truck, and forklifts to transport materials
• Handle and move palletized goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse
• Manage inventory movement to support order fulfillment processes
• Stack materials in designated locations maintaining warehouse organization
• Adhere strictly to warehouse safety standards and operational protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in forklift operation
• Certified forklift operator with forklift operator license
• Proven skills operating forklifts, reach trucks, and double pallet walkies
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and material handling procedures
• Strong team communication skills
