Junior Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Toronto, ON, for the role of Junior Accountant. Responsibilities include managing daily accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, account reconciliations, preparing financial statements, assisting with tax filings, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Familiarity with tax preparation, filing, and compliance regulations
• Experience with accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and numerical skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in accounting or tax roles is an asset
• Knowledge of Canadian tax codes and regulations is a plus
