The posted range reflects Journeyperson rates; apprentice compensation increases according to apprenticeship level.Work Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-FridayWhat Welldone Provides:Take-home company service truck + gas cardCompany-provided phoneCompany uniform with professional cleaning serviceTool, boot, and uniform accountStable, year-round employment with a locally owned companyOvertime opportunities with no requirement to work overtimeSeveral potential career advancement pathsCompany-paid education and industry trainingTeam-building events and company activitiesPositive, supportive culture centered on continuous improvementA strong commitment to professionalism and quality workmanship$5,000 signing bonus based on experience and technical ability*What You'll Be Doing: Troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including rooftop units, make-up air units, chillers, boilers, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and related equipment.Identify mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration problems and determine effective repair solutions.Replace worn or failed components and complete service work efficiently and professionally.Install new HVAC and refrigeration systems and perform retrofit and upgrade projects.Ensure all work complies with applicable safety requirements, codes, regulations, and industry standards.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance for established commercial customers through year-round service agreements.Communicate professionally with customers and explain equipment issues, repairs, and recommended solutions.Complete accurate service reports and required job documentation.Stay up to date with evolving HVAC and refrigeration technologies, equipment, and industry practices.What We're Looking For: Journeyperson Refrigeration & Air Conditioning certification preferred; Red Seal is an asset.Registered apprentices are welcome and encouraged to apply.Current refrigerant handling / ODP certification.Practical experience servicing commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.Strong knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.Ability to understand and work from blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean, insurable driving history.Strong customer-service, communication, and teamwork skills.Dependable, professional, and capable of working independently in the field.Considering a Move to Saskatoon?We can help make the transition easier.
