Top earning potential is $100K+ annually. Apprentice compensation is determined by apprenticeship level.Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-FridayThe Opportunity:Plumbing is your primary trade, and you'll take the lead on plumbing and gas service work. At the same time, our technicians have the opportunity to develop HVAC skills because our commercial customers rely on us for a wide range of mechanical services.If HVAC isn't part of your current skill set, that's okay-we'll train you. We see cross-training as an opportunity to expand your capabilities and create additional career opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Respond to commercial and light industrial plumbing and gas service calls, including installation, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and testing.Identify plumbing and gas system problems and provide efficient, practical repair recommendations.Complete inspections, modifications, renovations, and retrofit work on existing systems.Install and upgrade plumbing and gas systems while following applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.Complete scheduled preventative maintenance for customers covered by ongoing service agreements.Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide dependable, high-quality service.Accurately document completed work, service findings, and recommendations.What We Offer Our Technicians: Take-home company service vehicle and gas cardCompany-provided phoneCompany uniform and professional cleaning serviceEmployee tool, boot and uniform account$5,000 signing bonus based on experience and technical ability*Year-round employment with a locally owned companyOvertime opportunities without an expectation to work overtimeCompany-supported education and technical trainingMultiple opportunities for advancement and career developmentCompany team eventsA collaborative workplace focused on continuous improvementStrong emphasis on professionalism, quality workmanship, and customer serviceWhat We're Looking For:Certified Journeyperson Plumber and/or licensed General Gasfitter preferred; Red Seal certification is welcome.Registered apprentices are also encouraged to apply.Commercial and/or light industrial plumbing experience.Ability and willingness to learn HVAC systems and equipment-we provide the training.Solid understanding of applicable plumbing, gas, and mechanical codes and industry requirements.Comfortable interpreting blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams.Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean, insurable driving record.Strong communication and customer-service skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Relocating to Saskatoon?We can help.
