Junior QC/QA Coordinator

We are looking for a Junior QC/QA Coordinator to join our team! If you have experience working with structural steel - your skills are in demand! Pay rate: - $28.85/hour Perks: - Full time, long term opportunity - Work for a local Canadian company - Work closely with industry experts - Room to grow and advance Responsibilities: - Ensuring fabricated steel components meet project specifications, customer requirements, company quality standards, and applicable industry codes before they leave the shop. - Working alongside senior welders, they will support quality inspections, verify fabrication accuracy, maintain quality documentation, identify non-conformances, and assist with corrective actions to ensure consistent product quality Requirements: - Experience working in a structural steel fabrication environment. - Strong knowledge to interpret steel fabrication drawings and welding symbols . - A strong understanding of dimensional tolerances, fit-up, and fabrication processes. - Familiarity with welding inspection and quality control procedures. - Working knowledge of industry standards such as CSA W47.1, CSA W59, and ISO quality management systems is considered an asset.
