Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Ajax, Ontario
Shift Duration: 8 hours 30 minutes (with a 30-minute unpaid break)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, maintain, and improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards
  • Oversee QC inspection processes, calibration procedures, and documentation
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and support external audits
  • Ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements


Qualifications

  • Must have Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or Must have Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager and/or within a Quality Assurance Environment
  • Must have proven experience in ISO system implementation
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
  • Must be English and Computer literate
  • Preferred with Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques and Nonconformance Root Cause Investigation, Analysis, and Corrective Action Resolution skills
  • Preferred have Supervisory / Management skills
  • Preferred have Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Preferred familiar with Statistics and Trend Analysis
  • Preferred with Knowledge of QC Inspection techniques
  • Preferred with Knowledge of IMTE Calibration devices and practices
  • Preferred with University/College Degree
  • Strong knowledge of QC inspection, calibration procedures, and quality tools
  • Ability to read and interpret dial calipers and tape measures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‐solving skills
  • Ability to problem solve / multi-task / negotiate / deal with complexity
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
