Rexel Canada – Atlantic Division, a leader in the energy solutions & electrical distribution industry, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor located in our Dartmouth branch. Responsibilities: * Administering workflow and preparing work schedules of team members to meet customer service demands. * Training employees on proper processes and sub-processes as determined by the Warehouse Manager. These will include proper equipment usage, material handling and maintenance. * Determining which positions should be rotated and considered for training and encourage cross training between all team members. * Ensuring that all team members achieve proper housekeeping within area of responsibility so that the area is well maintained, productive and in compliance. * Responsibility for proper maintenance and usage of equipment and machinery. * Ensuring that all health and safety measures are followed. Qualifications: * Grade 12 education or equivalent. * Minimum 2 years' experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a comparable role within a Distribution Centre. * Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook. * Ability to operate a Reach lift, Forklift would be an asset. * Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a Distribution Centre. * Forklift experience or certificate would be an asset. * Must possess ability to build a team, excellent organizational skills. * Must have an operations and sales focus. * Should be able to multitask and must have great communication.
