The Day Porter will maintain cleanliness and order within a mixed-use development, focusing on day shifts, including weekends and rotating schedules. This role ensures that facilities are clean, restrooms are maintained, and supplies are well-stocked, providing a welcoming environment for all visitors and tenants. The Day Porter uses standard janitorial tools and does not participate in special event support.
Responsibilities
- Clean facility common areas and maintain overall cleanliness
- Remove trash promptly and efficiently
- Maintain restrooms in a sanitary condition
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure availability
- Interact courteously with customers and tenants
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in janitorial services
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background criminal check
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and health and safety compliance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and physical stamina
