General Labourer Job Type: Temporary (4 Weeks) Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Start Date: Monday, September 14th Nova Staffing is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer for a 4-week assignment in New Minas. This position involves assisting a carpenter with a variety of construction and site-related duties. Responsibilities Assist carpenter with various construction-related tasks Perform heavy lifting and material handling Carry and move 2x4s and other building materials Maintain a clean and safe work area Site cleanup and debris removal Support the crew with general labour duties as required Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor Requirements Ability to perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting Dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to follow directions and work safely on a construction site Previous construction or labour experience is considered an asset Mandatory PPE Candidates must provide and wear full PPE, including: CSA-approved safety boots Hard hat Safety vest Safety glasses Work gloves If you are available to start immediately and enjoy hands-on work in a construction environment, we encourage you to apply today.
