Line Operator

We are hiring Line Operators for our steel processing operations, supporting CTL (Cut‐to‐Length), Slitting, and Tube Mill lines.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience operating industrial manufacturing or steel processing equipment.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience in operating and managing either CTL (Cut‐to‐Length), Slitting or Tube Mill lines.
• Proven ability to proactively achieve performance goals.
• Strong technical knowledge of Steel processes, equipment, and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities to lead and train others.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in computerized systems for production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Dependable, team-oriented, positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 60 lbs.), stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements include enhanced visibility work uniforms, eye protection, hearing protection, and foot protection.
• Operation of various machinery and equipment, including hand tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, heavy machinery, welding, and cutting equipment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours per day or for extended periods to cover shift needs.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
• Rotation, Straight Afternoons and Straight Night shifts available
