At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive "sick-care" to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against "we caught it too late again".
We are looking for a MRI Training Technologist III to develop and implement comprehensive training programs for MRI technologists and other healthcare professionals. This position requires expertise in MRI technology, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient care and safety.
Our clinic operating hours will be determined by the demand in this location's area - we will be open Monday to Sunday, subject to change. This role will require scheduling for weekday, weeknight, and weekend shifts as needed. This position requires travel up to 65% of the year.
This is a 12 month fixed-term employment term, with the possibility of converting to full time.

What You'll Do
As a MRI Training Technologist III at Prenuvo, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing and continually improving Prenuvo's MRI training programs.
You will serve as a subject matter expert and trusted clinical education leader, partnering with MRI technologists, clinic leadership, radiologists, operations, quality, technology, and other stakeholders to ensure Prenuvo delivers a consistently exceptional imaging and patient experience across its growing network.
Curriculum and Instructional Design:
- Design, develop and update comprehensive MRI training curricula covering imaging protocols, scanner operation, patient positioning, safety, quality assurance and patient care incorporating best practices and advancements in MRI technology.
- Translate complex technical and clinical concepts into engaging, practical, and effective learning experiences.
- Create and maintain training materials, competency tools, assessments, reference resources, and technology-enabled learning content.
- Incorporate adult learning principles, simulation, hands-on instruction, case-based learning, and other evidence-informed educational methodologies.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to ensure educational content remains clinically relevant, current, and aligned with Prenuvo standards.
Training Strategy and Implementation:
- Collaborate on a scalable MRI education and training strategy that supports Prenuvo's current operations and future clinic expansion.
- Adapt the presentation of training materials for technologists at different stages of experience and competency.
- Ensure standardized onboarding, orientation, competency, and continuing education pathways for MRI technologists.
- Maintain training standards and educational frameworks that promote consistency across multiple clinics, MRI platforms, and clinical teams.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on clinical outcomes, technologist performance, operational needs, and emerging best practices.
- Support new clinic openings
Clinical Excellence & Protocol Standardization
- Partner with clinical and technical leadership to support the implementation, optimization, and standardization of MRI imaging protocols.
- Identify opportunities to improve image quality, workflow efficiency, patient comfort, scan consistency, and technologist performance.
- Support the successful introduction of new imaging technologies, software, AI-enabled tools, and operational processes.
- Help translate evolving clinical and technical requirements into practical training and competency programs.
- Establish feedback mechanisms that connect quality assurance findings and operational performance with targeted education and development.
Competency and Performance Development:
- Develop and oversee a robust competency assessment framework for MRI technologists.
- Evaluate trainee proficiency through direct observation, practical assessments, image quality review, simulation, and other appropriate evaluation methods.
- Provide individualized coaching, mentorship, and development plans to support technologist growth.
- Identify skill gaps and implement targeted interventions to improve clinical performance and confidence.
- Partner with clinic leadership to support performance improvement and professional development initiatives.
- Establish clear criteria for progression from onboarding through independent practice and advanced competency.
Mentorship:
- Serve as a senior clinical resource and mentor for MRI technologists and clinic managers across the Prenuvo network.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
- Support the development of future MRI leaders, educators, and subject matter experts within the organization.
- Provide guidance and consultation on complex MRI training and clinical practice challenges.
- Lead by example in demonstrating Prenuvo's commitment to exceptional patient care, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of lifelong learning and excellence within the MRI department.
Quality, Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure MRI training programs align with applicable regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and MRI safety best practices.
- Maintain deep awareness of evolving industry standards, MRI technology advancements, and educational best practices.
- Partner with Quality and Clinical Operations teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop training initiatives that address quality assurance findings, safety events, workflow variation, and emerging operational needs.
- Help ensure that Prenuvo maintains a culture where patient safety and clinical quality remain foundational to every aspect of MRI practice.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth
- Partner closely with MRI leadership, clinic operations, radiology, quality, people teams, product, engineering, and technology teams.
- Support the opening and operational ramp-up of new Prenuvo clinics by ensuring teams are appropriately trained and clinically prepared.
- Travel to clinics as required to deliver training, assess competency, support implementation, and maintain alignment across the network.
- Contribute MRI subject matter expertise to organizational initiatives involving technology, workflow design, protocol optimization, and clinical innovation.
- Build scalable training systems capable of supporting Prenuvo's continued growth across North America and internationally.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology, education, healthcare administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's) preferred
- Certification as an MRI technologist (e.g., CAMRT, ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification) with a minimum of 7 years of progressive clinical experience in MRI imaging including experience with advanced MRI techniques, protocol optimization, workflow improvement, or clinical leadership.
- Demonstrated experience developing, leading, or significantly contributing to MRI education, training, competency, or professional development programs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of MRI physics, imaging principles, patient positioning, image quality, MRI safety, and clinical workflow.
- Demonstrated experience with instructional design, adult learning principles, competency assessment, and performance development.
- Strong ability to translate clinical and technical expertise into scalable education and training programs.
- Experience with learning management systems, digital learning platforms, simulation, or technology-enhanced education.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, quality assurance processes, and MRI safety practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical or operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively across clinical, operational, and technical teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes, technology, and priorities continue to develop.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required to support Prenuvo's clinic network and expansion.

- The base salary for this role ranges from $110,000-$125,000 in local currency, depending upon experience and geographic location
