We're seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners passionate about preventive medicine and innovation. At TELUS Health Sky in Calgary, you'll leverage advanced diagnostics and health data analytics to deliver personalized precision care. What you'll do:
- Conduct thorough virtual health reviews, assess imaging contraindications, and order advanced diagnostics (MRI, DEXA, genetic testing, and specialized lab work) performed in our state-of-the-art facility.
- Consolidate diagnostic results using advanced digital tools, synthesizing findings into comprehensive health assessments and actionable wellness strategies.
- Guide clients through detailed reviews of imaging and biomarker results, explaining incidental findings and helping them navigate follow-up with their primary care providers when necessary.
- Partner with our multidisciplinary Precision Health team to develop and implement personalized client wellness plans.
- Support our Kids and Youth panels with annual health assessments and ongoing care.
- Providing episodic care to LifePlus patients.
What you bring:
- Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree or equivalent
- Current registration as a practicing Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- Active, unrestricted provincial license(s) with prescribing and/or lab numbers
- An interest in Preventive, Longevity and/or Functional Medicine
Preferred
- 5+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care preferred, or extensive clinical background as a Registered Nurse.
- Formal training, certification or experience in Precision, longevity and/or functional medicine a significant asset
- A positive, solution-based and innovative mindset, open to the perspective of others
- Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary team members and clients
- Proficiency in technology-supported care, including familiarity with EMRs
- Commitment to delivering comprehensive client-centered care with a focus on an exceptional customer experience
