We are hiring a Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) for an established food manufacturing facility in Burlington. This opportunity offers competitive hourly pay, health benefits, a pension plan, and tool and boot allowances.

Available Night Shifts
- 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. or 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Night shift pay: $46.25/hour, including the $2.00/hour premium.
- Some flexibility with shift end times may be required based on production needs.
- Base wage of $44.25/hour.
- Perfect Attendance Bonus: $1.00 per hour worked during the eligible period, subject to eligibility requirements.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults on industrial production machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance to support equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components associated with conveyors, packaging machinery, pumps, grinders, motors, fans, and other production equipment.
- Diagnose issues involving motor controls, electrical circuits, sensors, switches, and industrial control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and production machinery.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs to minimize production interruptions.
- Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage work orders and document maintenance activities, parts usage, and labour.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to identify equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, safe work practices, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety requirements.
- Valid Ontario Industrial Electrician license (442A) — required.
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment; food processing or fast-moving consumer goods experience is an asset.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial motors, motor controls, electrical circuits, and automated production equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems is an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and prioritize maintenance needs in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfort working in hot and cold conditions, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Your own tools.
- Strong English communication skills for safety, teamwork, and maintenance documentation.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
