AR Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing customer accounts, collecting outstanding balances, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate AR records. This role requires someone confident with collections, reconciliations, customer communication, and working independently. -Full-time remote position -Manage customer accounts and collect overdue balances -Contact customers regularly regarding outstanding payments -Collect payments based on agreed terms -Investigate billing discrepancies and account disputes -Enter customer payments and supporting information into QuickBooks -Generate and send invoices and payment reminders -Respond to customer and internal credit/account inquiries -Place accounts on hold when required -Prepare collection reports and update account status and collection notes -Participate in meetings with internal departments regarding customer accounts -Process refunds as required -Work toward established collection targets Special Requirements -Post-secondary education in Finance, Business, or related field -Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques -Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills -Experience with customer portals is an asset Benefits -Benefits package with multiple coverage options -Company-matched retirement program -Flexible vacation and time-off options -Maternity leave top-up -Training reimbursement and professional development opportunities -Regular company events and employee engagement initiatives Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
