This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced event environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.As a Banquet & Bar Supervisor, you will lead banquet and bar operations, oversee event staff, and ensure every event is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest service standards.What You'll DoSupervise banquet and bar staff before, during, and after events.Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate event expectations.Coordinate event set-up, food and beverage service, and event breakdown.Ensure Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) are executed accurately.Oversee bar operations, including setup, inventory, stock replenishment, cash handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.Ensure compliance with Smart Serve, liquor legislation, and Company policies.Maintain our company's standards for guest service, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.Resolve guest concerns professionally and make operational decisions during events.Work collaboratively with Culinary, Sales, Stewarding, Beverage, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional events.Assist with staff training, scheduling, performance coaching, and maintaining a positive team culture.What We're Looking ForPrevious supervisory experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, hotel, or event operations.Experience supervising bar operations is considered a strong asset.Valid Smart Serve Certification.Experience in unionized environments is an asset.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.Excellent guest service, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Why Join Cerise Fine Catering, Sodexo Live!?Work at one of Toronto's premier event venues.Lead exciting events ranging from corporate functions to large-scale hospitality experiences.Be part of a collaborative and supportive leadership team.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Competitive compensation and a dynamic work environment.If you are a hands-on leader who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and become part of the Sodexo Live!
