3PL Inc. is currently recruiting General Labour / Production Helpers for our North York client.

Students are encouraged to apply.

This is a great opportunity for students looking for part-time work around their school schedule, including evenings, nights and weekends, or for individuals looking for additional shifts throughout the week.

No previous manufacturing experience is required. Training is provided.

Location

North York, ON
Site is bus accessible

Reliable transportation to and from the facility is required for all accepted shifts. Candidates should consider transit availability for early morning, late evening and overnight shifts.

Pay

$17.60 per hour – All Shifts

Scheduling

We offer a variety of shifts based on client production requirements and employee availability.

You do not need to be available for every shift. Let us know your school schedule and availability, and our recruitment team can discuss the shifts that may work for you.

Available schedules may include:

• Part-time shifts
• Full-time hours
• Weekday shifts
• Evening and night shifts
• Weekend shifts
• 8-hour shifts
• 12-hour shifts

Regular Shifts

Days:
6:00 AM–2:30 PM | 6:30 AM–2:45 PM

Afternoons:
2:00 PM–10:30 PM | 2:30 PM–10:45 PM

Nights:
10:00 PM–6:30 AM | 10:30 PM–6:45 AM

Regular shifts may occasionally extend to 10–12 hours depending on production requirements.

12-Hour Continental Shifts

Days:
6:30 AM–6:45 PM

Nights:
6:30 PM–6:45 AM

What You'll Be Doing

You will work as part of the production team and may assist with:

• Hand packing products
• Preparing and packing cases
• Palletizing cases and moving skids
• General production support
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Following food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
• Completing required site training
• Supporting different production areas as required

What We're Looking For

• Students and individuals looking for flexible part-time or full-time work
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to perform the physical requirements of a general labour position
• Good communication skills
• Willing to learn and follow workplace safety, food safety, GMP and sanitation procedures
• Previous production, warehouse or food-manufacturing experience is an asset, but is not required

Safety & PPE

• CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear with green patch is required
• Additional required PPE is provided on site
• Compliance with site safety, food safety, GMP and sanitation requirements is required

About the Assignment

This position is offered through 3PL Inc., a licensed Temporary Help Agency. Successful candidates will be employed by 3PL Inc. and assigned to a client worksite. This posting represents an existing vacancy and does not require Canadian experience. Equivalent experience gained in other jurisdictions is welcome.

This position offers part-time and full-time hours on a temporary, assignment basis. Hours and schedules are not guaranteed and may vary from week to week based on client production requirements and individual availability. Assignments may be extended, shortened or concluded based on operational requirements. Any changes will be communicated by 3PL Inc. 3PL Inc. may use automated or artificial intelligence-based tools to assist with candidate screening or assessment during the recruitment process. All final hiring and placement decisions are made by a human recruiter.
