The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials, products, and information throughout the warehouse operation. This position supports shipping and receiving activities, inventory accuracy, purchasing coordination, vendor communications, core returns processing, and general warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Process incoming goods and ensure accurate system transactions
  • Prepare, package, and ship customer and supplier orders
  • Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with carriers
  • Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, damages, and shortages
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/WMS system
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with annual inventory counts
  • Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory
  • Ensure proper product identification, labeling, and storage practices
  • Generate purchase orders for inventory replenishment and operational requirements
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and backorders
  • Maintain supplier and purchasing records
  • Assist in sourcing products and obtaining vendor quotations
  • Support cost control initiatives and inventory planning activities
  • Process customer and supplier core returns in accordance with company procedures
  • Coordinate return material authorizations (RMAs) when required
  • Track outstanding core returns and credits
  • Maintain documentation related to returned and warranty items
  • Work with vendors to ensure timely processing of credits and replacements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
  • Assist with warehouse layout, inventory organization, and space utilization
  • Adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, and operating procedures
  • Provide backup support across warehouse functions as needed
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is an asset
  • 2-5 years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, purchasing, or distribution experience
  • Forklift certification is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse activities throughout the day.

Compensation Rate

  • $24 - $30 per hour
  • Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
