Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Salary: $73,000 – $75,000 + up to 15% bonus + full benefits
Schedule: Overnight shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Overnight Unit Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing overnight activities and setting the foundation for the day shift's success.
As the primary leader on shift, you will manage performance, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain a safe, productive, and engaged work environment for a team of approximately 25 unionized employees.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all overnight warehouse operations
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of ~25 unionized employees
Ensure productivity, quality, and safety targets are consistently met
Drive performance management including coaching, discipline, and recognition
Handle conflict resolution and enforce accountability across the team
Implement company policies, procedures, and operational programs
Complete operational reports and documentation accurately and on time
Coordinate workflow to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive team culture
Qualifications
Several years of management experience in warehouse, distribution, transportation, or manufacturing
Proven experience leading unionized employees (required)
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices
Demonstrated experience in performance management and conflict resolution
Ability to work independently and make decisions overnight
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience managing larger teams in fast-paced environments

Training includes 1–2 weeks (may be on day shift), followed by on-the-job overnight training
