Job Title: General Labour / Confined Space Monitor
Location: Prescott, Ontario (Onsite)
Work Type: Temporary
Salary: $20.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay

Our client, located in Prescott, requires General Labourers help in September for a short-term contract assisting with a plant shutdown, the job is approximately 20 mins from Brockville, just past Prescott in Johnstown at the Greenfield Ethanol Plant.
What you'll do
- Maintaining continuous, direct communication with entrants from outside the confined space
- Monitoring safety hazards
- Maintaining an accurate, real-time count of workers
- Controlling entry, and initiating emergency procedures if necessary as outlined in training
- Reliability is a must! Your team is counting on you to show up!
- Ability to walk, stand and observe for extended periods
- Ability to read and write recording information on a sheet of paper with attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
- CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots
- 1 day paid training, Drake International will pay for your certification to be a Confined Space Monitor – you can then add the new certification to your resume!
- Paid training is September 16th or 17th or 18th – you pick!
- Training time is 8am start (6-8hours)
- After attending training, you then work either day shift or night shift on September 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, – you pick!
- Shift option 1: 6am – 6pm
- Shift option 2: 6pm – 6am
