Project Manager

We at Trycewell Partners have been directly engaged to lead the search for an experienced Project Manager. This newly created, highly customer-facing position will oversee multiple projects from handover through design, fabrication, delivery, and closeout, while providing leadership to a 3 person engineering and design team.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from award through final delivery and closeout
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide clear, consistent project updates
• Coordinate project requirements across Engineering, Design, Procurement, Production, Scheduling, Finance, and Service
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, and overall progress
• Address scope changes, scheduling concerns, technical issues, and customer requirements
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and internal communication remain accurate and current
• Provide direction and support to the Project Engineer, Lead Designer, and Support Designer
• Escalate significant project risks or commercial concerns to a VP when required
• Support the successful delivery of projects in accordance with customer expectations, contractual requirements, and company standards
  

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience within a manufacturing, fabrication, or engineered-equipment environment
• Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to manage expectations and build trusted relationships
• Knowledge of fabricated, skid-mounted equipment
• Experience coordinating projects across engineering, procurement, production, and scheduling functions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects and competing priorities
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Natural gas compression experience is considered an asset
• A mechanical engineering degree is considered an asset
