We are searching for a qualified Charge PCW or LPN to provide ongoing or short term care for our residents in a professional and compassionate manner .
The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience with international nursing experience being an asset, and will provide oversight to team members.

- Medication administration
- Provide personal care to residents such as aiding in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing/undressing
- May perform routine health-related duties such as collecting specimens under the general direction of the General Manager/Resident Care Coordinator.
- Observe any changes in residents' condition and communicates these changes to the General Manager/Resident Care Coordinator.
- Work in conjunction with other members of the Health Care Team, to provide effective and appropriate standards of care for all residents.
- Ensure residents' personal hygiene and well being.
- Support and encourage residents to maintain an independent lifestyle for as long as possible.
- Follow all health and safety legislation as it relates to the Nursing and Health Care Departments.
- Ensure use of proper infection control techniques and sanitation.
- Practice safety measures to prevent injuries, including proper body mechanics
- Supervisory experience
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage when times are slow
- Empathy for, and an understanding of older adults, aging in place and cognitive impairment
- Positive attitude and the ability to build relationships
- Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
- Flexibility to work various day or night shifts and locations, as required.
