Full Time Fleet Dispatcher- Nights

Full Time Sunday-Thursday Night Shift Fleet Dispatcher Position In Mississauga! Night Shifts 8pm-5am, Sunday to Thursday Payrate- $25-$26hr Long Term Position Responsibilities - Coordinate the dispatch of vehicles to ensure timely and efficient deliveries - Stay in constant communication with drivers on the road to resolve issues and maintain seamless operation - Ensure prompt receipt and delivery of material, product to and from customers - Monitor and track the location of drivers and cargo at all times - Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track shipments and optimize routes. - Using PeopleNet system for monitoring and compliance - Update customer and company Transportation Management System (TMS) - Collaborating with customers to provide timely updates - Ensure and assist drivers with safety related concerns issues - Advise drivers on traffic and weather conditions, alerts and arrange emergency assistance for drivers when needed Requirements - 3 years experience in Dispatching Fleets in a 3rd Party Transportation Environment - Strong understanding of transportation logistics and regulations, handling large volume of 100-300 loads per day - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills - Critical thinking and problem solving ability working in high paced safety sensitive environment - Ability to work independently - Experience and proficiency in transportation management systems TMW, PeopleNet or relevant software, GPS systems and geography - Dedication to safety and accident prevention - High School diploma minimum requirement - University education an asset Please reply to this posting with a copy of your resume OR e-mail your resume to [email protected] and mention the Dispatcher-Nights 26621 job in the subject line.
