Class 1 Truck Driver

The Class 1 Truck Driver will operate various heavy vehicles including lowbed trucks, clam dumps, and dump trucks to transport heavy machinery, construction materials, specialized equipment, and general freight. This role involves driving primarily on highways, rural roads, urban areas, and mixed environments while ensuring safe load securing and vehicle condition. The driver will also handle routine vehicle maintenance and log upkeep, with no overnight travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 trucks including lowbed, clam dump, and dump trucks
• Secure loads safely for transport
• Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
• Maintain accurate driving logs and records
• Transport heavy machinery, construction materials, and specialized equipment
• Drive across highways, rural, urban, and mixed environments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of truck driving experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with heavy vehicle operation

We are a dual Union company both signed up by the owner for the people. Teamsters 213 Union for the trucks, IUOE 115 for the machines.
