Electric Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Electric Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating an electric forklift, moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an electric forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
• Transport, stack, and organize products and materials.
• Pick and stage orders as required.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Perform inventory movements and maintain accurate product placement.
• Inspect the forklift before use and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform general warehouse duties when required.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Previous electric forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification is an asset.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Safety shoes are mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions and workplace procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 1–2+ years preferred
