About the Role

The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting business growth. This position blends customer support and sales by serving as a trusted point of contact for customers, helping them place orders, resolve issues, and identify solutions that meet their needs.

As a CSR, you'll work across multiple communication channels to provide timely, accurate support while building strong customer relationships that drive satisfaction, efficiency, and long-term success.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and chat, assisting with orders, returns, and delivery updates.
  • Provide accurate product information, including specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns efficiently to ensure a positive experience.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend products that align with their business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products and services.
  • Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, etc.) to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Monitor product availability and proactively communicate any changes or delays.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and post-sale support.
  • Make outbound calls to check inventory levels, recommend refills, and introduce new products.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data to support reporting and analysis.
  • Confidently manage complex or unclear customer requests, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or technical training in automotive, truck and trailer systems is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably within a service shop, repair facility, or service writer role in the automotive, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment industry.
  • Ability to learn and apply product knowledge quickly; experience with light-duty trailer products is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience using CRM systems and order processing tools is preferred.
