Location: Mississauga

Compensation: $23.00-30.00 an hour based on experience

Availability Required: Monday to Saturday

You'll love your position as an Automotive Apprentice & Lube Technician:

  • Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, fluid checks/top-ups, tire rotations and tire pressure checks
  • Inspect tires for wear or damage and assist with tire installation, balancing and repairs
  • Assist licensed/Master Technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics and repairs
  • Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate them to the Service team
  • Obtain and return parts as required
  • Move, organize and prepare vehicles for service and customer delivery
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe shop, wash bay and work area
  • Properly use and care for tools and equipment and report any defective equipment
  • Follow all dealership procedures and health and safety requirements
  • Support the Service team with general shop and lot duties as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Completion of High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Registered Automotive Apprentice with at least 1–2 years of car dealership experience
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair tools, software, and techniques
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use diagnostic software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and/or instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid G Driver's License and a clean abstract
  • Ability to drive manual vehicles (an asset)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs at a time
  • Open availability
