Tundra Site Services is currently hiring experienced JM Millwrights for a fly-in/fly-out maintenance project at a remote northern mine site.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation with ongoing maintenance work and the potential for continued project opportunities based on client requirements.
Rotation Schedule
- 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
- Start dates anticipated around September 9 or September 30
- Initial project duration of approximately 3 months
- Charter flights primarily depart from Yellowknife or Edmonton
- Candidates from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Northern Canada are encouraged to apply
Position Details
- 12-hour shifts
- Camp accommodations, meals, travel, and tools provided
- Weekly pay
- Opportunities available as:
- Payroll employee
- Independent contractor through an established Ltd. or Inc. company
- Hotel accommodations can be arranged prior to deployment when required
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Millwright certification
- Previous fly-in/fly-out or remote site experience is an asset
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Clean shaven and willing to wear a half-face or full-face respirator as required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotational schedules
