What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Prepare surfaces for painting or other types of finishing by performing sandblasting operations.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are being followed during the sandblasting process.
  • Operate sandblasting equipment and machinery, including adjusting the necessary settings and maintaining equipment.
  • Inspect equipment, materials, and surfaces after and after the sandblasting process to ensure that the job has been completed to the required standard.
  • Keep accurate records of all sandblasting jobs.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as painters or supervisors, to ensure that the sandblasting process complements and supports the overall project goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients or customers, answering any questions they may have about the sandblasting process and providing recommendations for maintenance or further work.
What We Look For
  • Experience in sandblasting techniques and equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to sandblasting operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Familiarity with different types of abrasive materials and their applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records of blasting operations.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other workers and supervisors.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required by the project.
