Technical Integrator position summary
Our technical team is hiring a Technical Integrator to support our growing team. You will be responsible for Level 1 customer support, technical diagnostics and installations. Are you the person who would love to work on (wireless) networks, phone systems, and outfit a fire truck in the same week? And you are a self-starter who can manage your time effectively? The role requires drive and a strong sense of accountability, as the day-to-day work environment will involve very little direct supervision.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- General office IT support: workstations, printers, peripherals, etc.
- Customer support request
- Installing networks, 2-way radio setups, phone systems, cell boosters, and more
- Daily stats monitoring and issue reporting
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications.
- Customer Business Telephone (PBX) support and maintenance.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets.
- Provide Support for local and remote users.
- 2-way radio programming
Qualifications
- A+ Certification is an asset.
- Emergency First Aid for Industry (formerly OFA1) is an asset. If needed, a course will be provided.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in operating systems, networking, and system support are a bonus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and react quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, problem-solve, and perform a variety of tasks.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule and have and maintain reliable transportation.
- A large portion of this position involves fieldwork, so you must be able to work outside the office in remote locations and with non-standard office hours.
- Strong documentation skills. Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Affinity with 2-way radio is a plus
