Brandt Truck & Trailers is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Truck & Trailer for the Red Deer area. This position is responsible for direct sales and rental of new and used heavy-duty transportation trucks and trailers. With a solid understanding of industry trends and upcoming auctions, the Territory Manager - Transportation will forecast and identify prospective equipment for sale or consignment.

What You Will Be Responsible For- Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts
- Participate in all sales opportunities, and close competitive sales
- Assure good working relationships between customer and Brandt to resolve problems and grow customer loyalty
- Profile all accounts, keeping customer contact info up-to-date
- Maintain complete records related to each sale, including call reports, quotes, specifications, sales orders, expense reports, and other documentation as required
- Regular travel to assigned territory
- A positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Understanding of specialized transportation equipment and industry
- Strong people skills, with high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships
- Ability to work unsupervised, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focus and priorities
- 5 years sales experience (or equivalent)
- Class 5 drivers licence required; class 1 would be considered an asset
- Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
