AGAT Laboratories is seeking a Technical Client Services Specialist to join our Environmental Division in Calgary.

The Opportunity:
As a Technical Client Services Specialist, you will develop a strong understanding of environmental laboratory services while building relationships with clients and working closely with AGAT's laboratory professionals.
You will take ownership of the client experience from sample submission through analysis, reporting and final delivery. This position offers exposure to laboratory operations, technical services and client management and provides an opportunity to develop broader responsibilities as your knowledge and capabilities grow.

What you will be doing:
- Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted resource for Environmental clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through face-to-face meetings, telephone conversations and ongoing communication.
- Develop an understanding of each client's business, analytical requirements and expectations.
- Act as the link between clients and AGAT's laboratory and operational teams.
- Take ownership of client projects and help ensure commitments are met.
- Monitor projects and work orders as they progress through the laboratory.
- Proactively communicate project status, laboratory updates and potential turnaround-time delays.
- Coordinate with laboratory and operational teams regarding client projects, technical questions and reanalysis requirements.
- Communicate sample integrity concerns and work with clients and laboratory personnel toward appropriate solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of sample receipt notifications, certificates of analysis, reports, exports and invoices.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical packages, reporting formats and the overall client experience.
- Maintain accurate client information and special instructions within AGAT's systems.
- Participate in ongoing technical, client-service and professional development.
- A diploma or degree in Science, Environmental Science, Chemistry or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of client-facing experience is preferred.
- Minimum one to two years of laboratory or customer service expeirence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence communicating directly with clients and technical professionals.
- The ability to develop relationships and earn the trust of clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Initiative, curiosity and strong problem-solving ability.
- The confidence to take ownership of an issue and follow it through to resolution.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or reporting systems is an asset.
- A collaborative approach and genuine desire to learn and develop.
