What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Weld with MIG and stick
  • Report all damaged goods and/or scrap to supervisor
  • Understand and carry out written and verbal direction
  • Maintain equipment under assigned classification
  • Understand material sizes and specifications of product being worked on
  • Accurately fill out process sheets and accurately count numbers of pieces completed
  • Assist new welders if required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For
  • MIG,MCAW,FCAW experience required
  • Experienced Welders – Manufacturing. Working experience is required, minimum 2 years in preferred. Apprentices and Journeymen are welcome
  • Experience with routine maintenance operation preferred
  • Fabrication experience is an asset
  • Forklift and crane experience an asset
  • Heavy steel welding considered an asset
  • Daytime and evening shifts available
  • Welding test required

***Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 3 years experience in welding and hold a Journeyman or equivelant

  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions is required
  • Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
  • Must be capable of working under minimal supervision and perform all welding functions at an acceptable standard
  • Must be able to work under a minimum amount of supervision
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
