What You Will Be Responsible For- Analyze spend portfolio and determine overall procurement approach for assigned areas based on magnitude of dollars, strategic importance, and opportunity for value delivery.
- Manage and coordinate service contracts (like snow removal, landscaping, janitorial, waste etc), and other facilities-related needs, ensuring timely execution and strong vendor relationships.
- Support utilities management by maintaining basic knowledge of electricity, gas, and water supply requirements assisting in vendor coordination and cost monitoring.
- Support and assist in development of sourcing strategies for assigned projects or commodities.
- Research the supply market for assigned areas. Advise current and future market trends.
- Use supplier and market data to incorporate business unit requirements.
- Assist sourcing activities, supplier selection, supplier negotiations, and create and monitor supplier agreements.
- Identify, implement, and manage supplier relationships to support Brandt's business unit requirements.
- Learn and support contracting process (negotiation, contract preparation and administration), tactical and transactional activity for assigned areas.
- Enforce established supplier agreements and report back on value added.
- Explore cost reduction and supplier performance improvement, including alternating suppliers and products, renegotiating contracts to account for market changes, and working in conjunction with appropriate functional areas as needed.
- Developing, writing and publishing bids (RFI, RFP, RFQ, RFx).
- Maintain current market information for the categories of responsibility to ensure that Brandt's prices remain competitive within the confines of existing contracts.
- Monitor and report performance metrics
- Update and manage system data, ECN, NCR and ECR requests.
- Maintain LT, price, ordering parameters for all purchase parts assigned.
- All other assigned task by manager.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Relevant work experience, preferably in Procurement or Supply Chain.
