Meaty Eats -- Open Call for Applications (Retail, Production & Food Service)

Meaty Eats is a growing specialty retailer offering fresh organic meats, charcuterie, and house-made prepared foods. We operate two locations in the GTA, with a focus on quality goods, curated product selection, and exceptional customer experience.

We're looking for people with a genuine passion for food — people who enjoy engaging guests, educating them about organic food production, and sharing our products with pride.

As a growing company, we're always seeking talented individuals for both customer-facing and back-of-house roles, including Retail Associate, Retail Management, Operations Administrator, Butcher, Baker, Cook, Chef, and Food Service Team Member. Depending on the role, your day-to-day work may include customer service and selling, merchandising, inventory maintenance, food preparation, and food service.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in food service, hospitality, or specialty retail
• A valid Safe Food Handler certificate — or willingness to obtain one (we cover the cost, see below)
• Customer service, sales, or merchandising experience
• A proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• An interest in building a long-term career alongside a growing company
• Comfort standing for extended periods and working in refrigerated environments
• Flexibility and adaptability across shifts and departments

What We Offer

• Primarily Day Afternoon hours. Our shifts are primarily daytime/afternoon, with early starts for some of our production teams bakery team. No late nights — a real change of pace if you're coming from restaurants or bars.
• We pay for your certifications. Provided six months of continuous employment, we cover the cost of your Safe Food Handler, Smart Serve, and other job-related training.
