You will be responsible for the operation of bagging and toting lines and the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing loads. This position will work closely with other operators to assist in equipment cleanouts, changeovers, warehouse and yard cleaning and general maintenance.Duties & Responsibilities: Operation of tote and bag filling systemsOperation of inventory system to label toted and bagged products with lot numbers, weights and product IDTransferring productLoading and unloading of incoming and outgoing productsAssist in Plant clean-up, product changeovers, general maintenanceOperate various types of powered mobile equipment and attachments/implementsComplete daily documentation and reportingSupport sanitation efforts and follow all food safety guidelinesEssential Qualifications:Minimum High school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and organizational skills are required.Must have proven organizational and decision-making skillsMechanical aptitude is an assetMust have good math and analytical skillsMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate levelStrong computer skills (word, excel, data entry, etc.)Must be a self-motivated team-player with the ability to multi-task and manage prioritiesMust have the ability to perform physical tasks repetitively such as climbing ladders/stairs and lift 50lbsMust be comfortable in working with heights.Must be able to work in a grain processing environment which exposes staff to allergens such as, but not limited to, grain and grain dust. A typical work week is Monday – Friday, 8hr/day. Demands of the business may require shift work including weekends.
