Shipper Receiver - Forklift Operator

What you will do:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues
• Accurately enter received goods into inventory systems
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements
• Generate shipping documentation (bill of lading, packing slips, labels)
• Coordinate pickups with carriers and schedule shipments
• Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment (if certified)
• Maintain organized shipping/receiving areas
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

What we need:

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, tracking logs)
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Ability to create and process electronic shipping documents
• Experience using barcode scanners and RF technology
• Comfortable with email communication and digital file management
• High level of accuracy in data entry

EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
