Our Data Center group is currently looking to add a Project Administrator to our growing team, based in Port Hawkesbury, NS.
Reporting to the Project Manager, we are seeking a detail-oriented Project Administrator to provide administrative and documentation support across the planning, execution, and delivery of a large electrical infrastructure project, including maintaining project records, tracking schedules, coordinating communications, and supporting field construction teams.
Please Note: this is a field-based position working a shift of 6 days on / 1 day off, with 10 hour days.
Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and update project schedules, milestone trackers, and execution logs as directed by the Project Manager
- Compile and organize supplier, vendor, and subcontractor data to support procurement and cost tracking activities
- Support compliance monitoring by maintaining safety and quality documentation and flagging issues to the Project Manager
- Track and log construction-related issues and actions, following up with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution
- Assist with project financial tracking including cost coding, invoice processing, and preparation of financial reports
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education in a related field
- 3 years of experience in a project administration or coordination role
- Previous construction industry experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Project
- Experience with document control systems and project filing
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Experience supporting Electrical Infrastructure projects
- Experience dealing with Unions (help requests)
Benefits
This position offers a base salary range of $60,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
